Columbia River House

I recently stayed at a charming house on the banks of the Columbia River, and it was truly a delightful experience. Our stay was fantastic! The house was clean and big enough for our 2 families. The view is amazing, yard is beautiful and the house had everything we needed. One tv remote wasn't working but the host quickly responded and brought us a new remote right away. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends and family and are looking forward to booking again ourselves soon!

We had a blast staying at this property. It was a very private location with many perks. We were able to play wiffle ball in the large yard, jump off the dock into the river, and most importantly spent time with each other throughout the weekend. The house is amazing, and the separate cottage allows guests to have a private area as well. The hot tub worked great. There was a private beach area and a working grill. I would recommend this house for anyone expecting a family reunion. Great stay with great people!!

Our Family came over to enjoy the calm waters of the Columbia River. We loved the house, detached carriage house, yard, beach, and boat dock. The house was perfect for a multi generational blended family, and slept all 9 of us and 2 dogs comfortably. Looking forward to future visits.

First of all I was very impressed with how the owners responded very timely. The house is plenty big for a larger group and the extra cottage works out great for those who want to join but not always want to be a part of the chaos. Our group consisted of three families: 2 brothers, wives, and children (9 young kids). We also had our parents. My parents stayed in the extra cottage so they didn’t always have to be around all the noise with little kids. The property is very nice. There is also a private beach and dock, but they are hidden mainly out of sight from the kids, the kids did good not going without an adult. The location is great, literally a 10 minute drive to Chelan. Overall a good place to spend with family. I would definitely recommend this place. It is now on our list of potentially staying again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Big enough for a large family but did not feel we were right on top of each other because of the two houses. The cottage is small but comfortable. The main house was perfect and the kitchen big enough for us to cook large family meals. We all enjoyed the outdoors and played games on the spacious lawn. thank you again for renting to us.

This was our second stay at this home. It's perfect for our extended family. We love the open space in the kitchen and living room. The layout of the bedrooms is perfect for a large group and our kids love the bunk room. The hot tub is great and time in the hot tub was a highlight of our stay. We hope to be back again!

So much room! Plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax. Beds were comfortable. Living space is really open with a great room/kitchen area that is perfect for everyone being together. We were there in the winter and it snowed - the view was beautiful with the trees and the river. Even saw an eagle perched on a tree riverside. Would be a great place to visit in the summer. Even though it's on the highway, the noise was buffered. Didn't notice it in the house. Would definitely rent again. Property manager was great about getting back to us when we had questions or a minor concern.

This house was beautiful! Tons of room for everyone. Really nice to have the second house available, although all we did was sleep in it. The kitchen had everything you could need. I was very impressed. The island and the large kitchen table were perfect for our group. The living room area had a lot of room to sit and visit or watch TV. The only issue we encountered were small stains on one of the bedroom sheets. I emailed them and they responded right away as to where to find clean sheets. Otherwise the house was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

12 guys spent a week playing golf in the area. House was everything we asked for. Prepared all our dinners at the house and found it very well appointed. Managers were great to work with. Would definitely stay there again!

We needed a place to stay that allowed dogs and had a safe area for them to run and play. We wanted a dock and easy water access. We needed a place for 11 adults. This property delivered! The kitchen was well equipped. Anything we needed, it was a short drive into Chelan to a grocery store. The beach area in addition to the dock was nice for a paddle board and for the dogs.

I booked this property for a large family vacation/reunion and we had an absolutely fantastic time. We had 17 people ranging from Adults to teens and children as well as two smaller dogs. Big Pros: - Tons of space and usability - Fantastic views with water access - Enormous yard with privacy from very distant neighbors - Fantastic Communication from the management company. A chlorine float was missing from the hot tub and the management sent someone out the very next morning to fix the issue - Very good pricing that will ensure we come back - Truly only minutes away from Chelan which made store runs easy We will definitely look to come back and are already talking about rebooking in the fall.

We had the best stay at this home during Chelan's Winterfest. Our family wanted a house where we could all be together and enjoy the Winterfest event. The best thing about the weekend ended up being the time we spent together in the house. As I was trying to find the right place for us, I kept coming back to this home. This house was perfect for us!!! The layout couldn't have been better our family (parents, grandparents, great grandparents and 3 children). We enjoyed having the bedrooms on both floors of the main house and in the cottage. This allowed us plenty of room so that we could all have our own space and not feel like we were on top of each other. The large living room and open kitchen/dining area gave us lots of room to gather and hang out together. One of the important things, as I was choosing a home, was couch space. I knew we would spend lots of time on the couches and wanted enough space that we could relax and be comfortable. I also loved having a completely separate place in the cottage to cook, sleep and get ready in the morning. The hot tub worked great, and everyone enjoyed it. This was really a bonus for our family. We also enjoyed the beautiful view! The property management company was very communicative about our stay and easy to reach. I would definitely recommend this home and hope that we can stay there again next year!

We were a group of 16 and the house and cottage perfectly suited us. The house has a great layout for a large crowd. The great room easily accommodated our large party of 16 (9 adults, 7 kids, ages 2 - 18). The kitchen was well stocked and easy to maneuver. They had kids dishes which was a very pleasant surprise. We all really loved the house. Throughout our stay, the management company was very responsive!

Three families stayed with seven children altogether. Massive house. Detached cottage was barely used because the house had ample space in itself. Expensive well-kept yard. Ready river access. Brought kayaks to explore this quiet bend of the Columbia. Quick access to hikes and Chelan proper. Very clean, well stocked and appointed. An incredible value!

We had a small, intimate wedding on this property that was amazing due to the size of the yard, view of the river and isolation from other homes. Those who stayed had plenty of room, the guest house beds were so comfortable, both houses were well stocked and all living areas were spacious. We would rent this property again!

We had a great 2nd year at the Columbia River House in spite of the smokey air. Jennifer went into high gear to find emergency lodging for us on July 27, when Hwy 97 was closed past Orondo and we couldn't get to the house. Thankfully it was open Saturday morning and we were able to get to the house before noon. Guests ranged in age from 75 to 4 months. We took advantage of all amenities from the spacious decks and lawns to the beach and hot tub. The close proximity to Chelan is a big plus. Women enjoyed Yoga and wine and Tsillian Winery; guys golfed. Walmart saw many "last minute" pick-up runs. We already have reservations for next year, and are looking forward to another week of fun on the water.

Our girl group just spent three fun-filled days in your lovely home. The location was perfect and the pictures and descriptions of everything were spot on! We recently spent 3 nights at this beautiful home on the Columbia River just outside of Chelan, Washington. This get-away was for an all-women knitting retreat, and this property couldn't have been more perfect in meeting our needs. The location was close enough to town to offer us options for dining, hiking, shopping, and wine tasting. The view from the house and large decks was outstanding. There was adequate parking for everyone. The house & cottage were absolutely beautiful with plenty of comfortable sleeping areas, numerous bathrooms, and a large fantastic kitchen. The open living room was perfect for large group gatherings. This was a very special place that we were most lucky to find. I would recommend it to anyone for large family get-togethers or for several couples sharing expenses. You won't be disappointed.

Oh MY! Most homes that sleep 20 mean the younger ones will be on couches. So not the situation with this magnificent home. We all were able to eat and play games in the enormous dining room and kitchen. The couples with little kids were able to retreat to the cottage when their children were ready to nap. With 5 bathrooms we were never waiting. Oh yes after participating in the Lake Chelan Polar Bear Plunge it was so nice to jump into a "hot" hot tub. We rotate places for our family reunions so the drive is not always long for some of the people but the people that had to drive awhile to get here said they loved the place and we may just make this our annual reunion spot.

My wife and I were getting married at a Chelan winery, and we chose this place for housing our immediate families visiting from Australia and the east coast. The house was ideal; plenty of room for the fourteen of us, and only five to ten minutes drive from Chelan. The master bedroom in particular is very comfortable, with its own access to the deck, private bathroom and large closet area that we found useful for arranging wedding items. We had a barbeque dinner with extended family one evening, and there was plenty of room on the expansive deck for entertaining a larger crowd. This place would be excellent for family gatherings. We also enjoyed using the small beach area, including friends visiting for a post-wedding breakfast who launched a kayak from the beach, and my brother and I even swam across the river one morning. Surprisingly, despite the warm weather, we found the hot tub great for relaxing after cool morning river swims.

My family is scattered all over the west coast and we haven't all been together at once for 5 years. My wife's birthday this year was a milestone so we decided to all celebrate together. This was the perfect place for our 3 generations to come together - plenty of room for our 10 adults & 5 children (the grandkids loved the bunk bed room) in the houses, the oversize decks for outdoor meals, the huge grasssy yard, proximity to Beebe Park, access to all kinds of watersports, shopping, and dining options. It was tough to leave it all and go back to reality. We highly recommend this for a large group gathering!

I booked this place for a bunch of friends and family to get together over a 3 day weekend. From the beginning, the process was smooth and seamless - the directions were clear and easy to follow and the house itself was just beautiful - perfect for our needs! We were a group of 18 people (kids + adults plus 2 dogs) and at no time, did we feel a shortage for space or activities to do. The house is spacious - the bedrooms are well laid out and maintained and the kitchen was brilliant with every amenity that we could have required. But the best part of this place was the deck - with gorgeous views all around and the large spacious yard - even the dogs were sad to leave. :) I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a short or long getaway with a small or large group. Just awesome!!! We would come back to this place any time!

We had a group of ladies that has taken Memorial Day weekends for over 30 yrs. Some have been there from the start and some are new additions, but it is a fantastic time to bond and catch up on our lives. These two houses offer plenty of room to roam and provide group gathering locations for up to 12 both inside and out. We all ate dinner at the same table! The hot tub was a wonderful addition, after the drive over the mountains. We utilized the yard for relaxing in the sun and the decks were perfect for afternoon gatherings, after our different trips into and around Chelan during the day! I would highly reccomend this house to a large group. We are already booked for next year and are even extending our stay by one day to enjoy the houses longer!

This house was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was even better. It was so quiet, and so calm; the perfect place for a family get together, reunion or intimate wedding. The home is in great condition, and has a beautiful kitchen to cook in. The furniture and beds are very comfortable which is a plus. My family & I rented this home to spend Christmas with each other, with family coming from 4 different states to all meet here. There was plenty of room for kids to run, and adults to relax; especially in the hot tub. I would highly suggest this home to anyone looking, as it is in a great location and is so beautiful! The listing was exactly what we saw when we stayed at the home; everything was accurate. The manager was very helpful with our questions/concerns and even went out of her way to put in a Christmas tree for our use. The listing photos were accurate with the furniture and space, as there was plenty of space for everyone in our large group! We would like to extend our thanks to the owners for this beautiful property! We look forward to future stays!
